Guardianship Court Evaluator Fees?

I recently completed a proceeding and was shocked at the evaluators fee for this. Would anyone who has used an attorney as a court evaluator in a guardianship proceeding be kind enough to share about how much the fee was. Not sure how much it varies by state. Really need this info as soon as possible and would so appreciate your help. Thanks much!
