Do the bulbs really grow? Are their variety's found in local garden stores? They seem expensive, with shipping.
I like watching some of the garden shows, but not the flower ones. I like lawn ornaments etc.

Me too, you would like my cactus made out of sheet metal. LOL Looks real and no maintenance. LOL Here in Northern Tx. all we can have is boulder rock and concrete and metal objects to decorate with.
Sure, your evergreen junipers and that type of shrubs. To dry and windy for real pretty stuff.
I discovered butterfly bushes . So, far the jack rabbits haven't ate them up.

I have zero interest in any gardening shows, at any time of year. I tried several plants/bulbs from QVC (don't remember which vendor) and none of it did well. I have also purchased garden lights from QVC on two separate occasions, and was not that impressed with either set (dim lights and finishes that quickly turned ugly). All my garden shopping will be done locally from now on.

Well, lets see - I buy only basic cable and have the option of over 200 channels so I do not feel I am forced to "sit through" anything they are offering on QVC or any other channel. That is why the cable company provides me with a remote control that has a button to change channels and one to turn the TV off. There is radio, internet, read a book, color in my coloring books. I could make my DH a special dinner. I can visit with a neighbor. Any number of other ways to entertain myself.

I'm just glad to see something different and new.
QVC, when not in Christmas mode (which I do like) is nothing but fashion, beauty, handbags, shoes, and jewelry's, for days and days on end.
They make no money on me during those days (weeks!), so I'm glad to see something different. I was even excited to see the Lazy Boy TSV, simply because it wasn't fashion!

I am busy making plans in my mind about changes to my garden. I have not had good luck with QVC plants but it could be partly because of our rainy weather and the fact it never gets really hot in the summer. I stick with buying at local nurseries and an occasional purchase online.
Predicted to be dry tomorrow and hope to get out in yard after yoga class.

I buy locally, preferring to support our hometown businesses.

Just as an fyi, I read in another forum that the TSV being sold today is toxic to animals.
