Thank you.

All of us have had our share of grief. Not everyone is comfortable sharing it here.

What a beautiful post, thank you so much for sharing this with us. I am walking down that road along with so many others, missing laughs and love shared for many years.

I feel that grief has a different time frame for all. No set boundaries. Yet, I will always miss my loved ones, but I always let and welcome others into my life without reservation wherever they fit. This original post says so much. Beautiful.

Paraphrasing: "Grief is like the ocean; it ebbs and flows. Sometimes the water is calm and other times it is overwhelming. All we can do is learn to swim."

Yes, that is exactly how I read it. And a wonderful paraphrase of the OP's thread.

Thank you, Lion, for this thread.

Op.....your saying and Autumn's brought a tear to my eye. Almost 9 months ago, I lost the love of my life and the man who I had hoped would be the last face I see before I closed my eyes for the last time. This is the most difficult thing I have ever been through although I have lost almost every close family member. Nothing has hurt so much.

Thank you for posting.

((((shorelady)))) I read one of your posts around Christmas too. I feel so sorry for you. I hope that you find some comfort.

Thank you Lion for this thread. There are some sweet posters here and so many we don't know about who are sad and working through grief in their personal ways.
