Howdy from the casinos!

We came down yesterday for the Rod Stewart concert and will be staying until Wednesday.

The concert was wonderful--he was coming off a long tour and seemed a bit tired, but, as usual, he was professional and gave a great concert, and did all the classics.. {I caught an autographed soccer ball he kicks out to the concert--he must have kicked out 20 or so}. The husband got seats on the aisle, and I danced and sang thru most of it. {as did most everyone who was there.} He did a nice acoustic set mid way thru, came back for only 1 encore. So here do the BATS come in? Well there was a loose bat flying around the stage for a while, about 1/3 way thru someone caught it. He announced that should the bat bite him, he was suing Donald Trump. It killed me to pay money to anything Trump related, but I made an exception for Mr. Stewart. Walking back to our hotel, Mr. Channing said "gee, it was nice of Rod Stewart to sing back up for you!" Yeah, I didn't sit down much at all. All in all a great time.

I don't play cards, I do the slots and at this point 've broken even, but I fully expect to come home with money in my pocket.. They are open 24-7 and I plan on going down after we go to dinner.
