Recently I had a nice experience with Amazon customer service. I ordered a 12 pk. of dried cup of soup, when I received it it was lime shrimp. Which I can't eat. I called them , and said I was  not returning, but was going to donate the soup. I wasn't expecting anything, but I wanted them to know that I wasn't pleased. The rep. Immediately said they would credit my account, and within 2 days they did.  I didn't return because of the hassle, but I was pleased with the outcome.

I have experienced their great customer service.  I returned two gifts that I bought and got reimbursed as soon as the returns reached their warehouse.

I just received a 12-pack of something, 3 of which were broken, from an outside seller. Contacted him, asked if he could just send me three to avoid the hassle of returning them. He immediately issued me a full credit to my card, and told me to just go and buy another 12 pack if I wanted. Wow!!!! Amazon is truly an amazing and well run company.

I agree with everybody else.  I've been buying from Amazon since 1999 and, in that time, have only had to contact them a handful of times with problems.  Every time they exceeded my expectations.

I never ask for anything to which I'm not entitled.  In fact I come out with 'what can we do to fix this situation?' and they always go above and beyond.

Dyson is another company with extraordinary customer service.  They have always helped me but twice they went well above and beyond.

Ive been blown away by Zulily CS.  If you order a relatively inexpensive item, (I believe $40 or less) and it arrives damaged or in the wrong size, color, etc., they tell you to donate it and credit your account with an extra $10.  When a more expensive item arrived broken, they asked me to send a photo of it, told me to trash it, and gave me an extra $10. credit + refund.

Their CS reps are always so pleasant and chatty.
