Three is correct (a plural is needed, not a possessive).  But I would rewrite it to sound better.    Smiley Happy

@LilacTree: Proper grammar will always matter to me (for what that's worth). If I ever need it, please correct me. Smiley Happy

You can only image the fun we all had when we lined up our cars by Toyota called Prius.  I had to call someone at the dealership to get it straight and even they could not answer it properly or comfortably without sounding crazy because if it is a Latin word the rules would put an I at the end of the  word to make it plural.

As for the question here, I would simply restate it to avoid the choices.  Woman LOL

The error that has been setting my teeth on edge lately seems to be a fad for using "women" for "woman."  I call it a fad because I cannot accept that folks don't know the difference, but I have even seen the mistake made by so-called journalists

Groucho had a famous line. "I shot an elephant in my pajamas last night. What he was doing in my pajamas I'll never know."

I just remembered another very common misuse of the apostrophe.  It should be 1990s (no apostrophe when referencing the time frame), unless you are discussing the 1990's fashions (again, possessive).

I have revisited the question and possible answers.  Please Google the topic.  Very interesting and there is a difference of opinion.

It's plural but not possessive.  #3.

So many people don't understand when to use an apostrophe.

There is always that certain teacher who lives in your head.  For me, it was my very staunch English teacher.  As opposed to the standards of today, she would actually fail you and make you take the entire grade again if you didn't have proper grammer mastered.

I wasn't one of those who had to repeat a grade, but grammer will always matter to me.

The not knowing how to use "lose" and "loose" in a sentence drives me crazy too.

Oh, it's number three.
