I guess all three of the responses are accurate. I normally would say, "Don't you think...." There seems to be a trend toward, "Do you not think...." I guess it has more emphasis than, "Don't you think...." However, "Do not you think..." just seems awkward and extremely formal to me. It's like @ChynnaBlue mentioned, our language keeps evolving. Some of what is common language now was totally incorrect when I was in school. Oh, well...my son got the point and complied with my wishes.

My first degree was in English.  I would have put the lighter fluid on your daughter-in-law.
