Gourmet Holiday on the Q

After carrying several containers of spring/summer cloths up from the basement, needed to sit down for a few. Turned on the Q. And, was amazed at what I was seeing.

Gourmet Holiday is on right now. How many of you like these shows?

My gosh, when I serve food I surely don't handle food the way they do. They were showing what looked like coffee cake when I turned it on. I know they want you to see what the inside of something looks like, but the way they tear apart things like this, and the way the display the lobster (sprinkled w/ paprika), cut it and then dip it in the cold butter.....just turns my stomach. Then the 2 hosts and vendor drool over the food like they have never tasted such delicious good. And, the prices are outrageous....even if it includes S&H which is figured into the cost.

I am curious as to your thoughts on how these food shows come acorss to you.
