It was at an Aldi's in Chicago.

A friend sent the whole video....this pic only shows part.  It took quite a few efforts to get him out.

What this doesn't show, was that he was pulled out by his tail, got away...and promtly jumped RIGHT BACK IN!!

I wonder what the man was going to do with him anyways???  Put him in that shopping cart and wheel him out?   LOL

There was nothing showing in the video to secure him.....cage him to relocate etc.

The animal was probably hungry and desperate for food.  Maybe it had pups to feed.  Moms will do just about anything.

The article I read referred to this as rut season for the coyotes and this coyote dashed into this store from being afraid of people.

I was surprised to read coyotes are seen in Chicago. I've been there only once and only remember it being a large city.

I do doubt the coyote was shopping for food, though.

It's like seeing elk strolling through downtown Estes Park in Colorado , even lounging outside the Stanley Hotel and on the lawns of homes.

There’s no way you would pull the tail of a wild coyote and not get attacked!

Not to mention take a chance he didn’t have rabies. 🥴
