Good old New York State!

Our college age daughter just filed her taxes with DH's help. He told me that she will be getting all of her federal taxes back (she only made a few thousand dollars last year) but she will only get $17 dollars back from NY State tax. No wonder people are leaving this state in droves. Our daughter plans on leaving as soon as she graduates. We will too when we retire.
