All I can say is...I'm totally shocked. And really sad.

Please please don't make Michael J. Fox a regular on the show. That will be the only reason I'll be forced to stop watching. His character is too annoying for words.

I'm a little bit surprised that Josh Charles wanted to leave. After all, it's not like he was a major star. I hope he doesn't wind up like David Caruso, who left NYPD Blue to pursue other interests. We all know where that got him.

I'll watch the episode again tomorrow on demand, and see what I missed, as it all happened so fast. I hope I'll remember to watch David Letterman tomorrow night.

I know this is going to sound dumb, but I actually had a hard time getting to sleep last night after watching the show. I had watched it and also recorded it, so i watched the last half again and then had a hard time getting to sleep and woke up several times during the night. That episode was disturbing. I didn't care for it.

I had the same reaction after they killed off Jimmy Smits character on NYPD Blue.

I enjoy this show and was shocked to see they killed Will off, as I read above he wanted out! I do not like M.Fox's character so I hope he is not permanent......I always look forward to watching the show as there is not much to watch on Sunday evenings!

I so agree, Sunny ... I won't watch if this happens. Why don't they try to get Kathy Bates? She'd be great.

I think Michael j Fox will be on for only 4 episodes. I don't like his character but I think he makes the show good.

I wonder now if she wants a different love interest or love triangle and will's part would have been changed to be more like david lee or something.

I was in total shock. I think that loyal viewers actually felt like it was a real death. The shock followed by disbelief followed by a sense of loss. Well done. Well done, indeed. I expect the two firms will eventually merge. I don't know yet if this will be good for the show or bad for the show. Time will tell. But I know one thing. If that creepy, slimy Irish attorney has a big role in the show, I won't watch it anymore.

I think the last two seasons have been full of gimmicks and ridiculous plot twists. This episode shows a complete lack of imagination. This show started out with great promise as a good dramatic show without sensationalism. Now it's just another soap opera.

I can't envision the two firms merging, if that happens I think I'll be divorcing the show.......
