Last night, when I was putting out the food for my feral cats, a new orange cat appeared. I talked to him and he came to me. He had the tipped ear of a feral, but I do not remember trapping him, although I suppose it is possible.
I usually do not return the tame cats back to the wild, so it may be he was trapped elsewhere and found my house to eat at. I couldn't just walk away from him, so I bundled him up and brought him in. I have a cage always set up for just in case and put him in there.
I took him to my vet early this morning and had him tested for disease. He tested negative (yay!) so I got his shots. He purred and kneaded when he was getting his blood drawn for the test.
Please put him in your thoughts that I can find him a good home. My house runneth over with cats, especially since I took in that starving cat I found in March. My goal has been to gradually reduce my cat population as I have gotten older, but I simply can't walk away.
I know so many of you here care about these abandoned animals, so please send him some good vibes! Thank you.
