I'll be moving me and doggies into walkout basement Saturday - 20 degrees cooler down there.  Have to paint my kitchen down there and a storage room - looks like I'll start that next week.  I have 20 foot ceilings in my livingroom upstairs and it is hot as heck in here.  When it gets in high 80s and 90s - I stay in the basement, only now I don't have a TV so I guess I'll paint instead.

Yeah, funs over for the Texans, also. By week end we're looking at 90's.

For the past 3 days it has reached 91 here in the St. Louia area.......  A/C has been running quite a bit.  And it isn't summer yet......

We don't turn ours on till noon then run to 8.

Electric is just to expensive in Tx.  One month it was 500. We cut back to 8 hrs a day and turn on later if it's cloudy, etc.   Just decide each day how long it can stay on.

@ShowMe; @SharkE - I was so looking forward to a cooler summer!  I don't like it when it gets over around 82.  And I don't like to pay for A/C - so I'll spend my days painting down in the basement - it's work that needs to be done anyway!

@SharkE - it's 7:00 pm and still 89 degrees!  In California at least when it got dark it cooled down - not here in Indiana.

Yep, I KNOW what you mean we lived around Evansville, In for lots of yrs. just moved to Tx in 2010. At least here it's in 50's at night (semi desert) and early morning when your out watering it's really cool. Up in Evansville it would get hot and you would go to bed hot and the humidity would stagger a buffalo.

Send some of that hot air to Pennsylvania.  I am still wearing jeans and sweatshirts,  it is in the 60's on a good day and in the 50's at night.

It has been raining a few days a week and always  on weekends.  We still have to turn the heat on because it's cold and damp.

Our pools are open and most of the kids are out of school for summer vacation this week.  We have water, all we need is warmer weather.

I am so sick of rain, clouds and cold weather.

It's been in the 50s and 60s for months.  Today it popped up to 72.
