Gofundme is for medical issues. A friend's grandson was diagnosed with a fatal genetic disorder after a month in a coma. Their insurance ran out, their paid leave ran out. They got 25,000 in donations in less than a week. That was the goal they asked for, when it was reached, their page was closed.

I don't think it's just for medical issues. The page I donated to had nothing to do with that.

Sounds familiar. I knew it had nurse in the name. I think they are still on that forum, just keep changing names.

I don't think it's just for medical issues. The page I donated to had nothing to do with that.

That site is to raise money for any reason.

"Back-to-brunette" or BtoB for short, I believe was one of the posters who scammed this board for money.
