Seriously, 50+ posts since Saturday (Feline found the notice on her door Fri. nite...right before her birthday) from bantering about lip balms, perfect shades for green eyes ( I go with browns), how to give a cat a pill......Well, there really should be much more important things to worry about right now, OP.

Before your post last month was 'brought up', I was just about to ask you how I can help you.

So, how can I help you?

I mainly restrict that stuff to late nightime and overnight when no one is open or reachable.

You can do both the contacting & bantering/helping others in the same 24 hours.

And I don't "worry" about bantering/fluffy stuff like you said above.

You can both cry and smile at the same time.

If you don't find humor at even the roughest times, you won't survive.

I'm an expert at this from decades of experience, since I was 12.

It's a tiny bit of relief at night & during the overnight.

And an occasional quick post here & there during the day when there's no one left to call or email for the day.

I'm sorry, but I've been extra respectful to everyone, and don't know what to think anymore.

Except that the sarcasm & other toxic stuff directed at me is not necessary.

Okay my bad.  Set up a gofundme account then. I think that's all you can do at this point. A lot of people here will contribute to it I'm sure.

I thought op said she doesn't meet the criteria.

I am thinking op wants one of the posters here to do so.

I doubt that QVC allows anybody to advertise their GFM page here to collect $$$$ from us. I think QVC would frown on it.  Jmho,

Re: GoFundMe for personal use?

Maybe we could send money to the landlord?  Or wire money from Walmart or something. If you have PayPal we can send money there.

I understand re: GFM and don't care hwat people think as people have been judging me since I went on SSD years ago; I'm used to it.

But GFM is only one way of trying to get immediate financial assistance.

I can't afford to put my eggs in all one basket, so to speak.

And certainly when I'm quickly tunning out of timer

If GFM isn't doable, I have to keep hoping & praying that others' social connections elsewhere - in person &/or online - might be able to help a little bit.

The business - if it ever happens - is not part of my respectful request/plea.

Nothing else is either, except for avoiding the eviction ASAP.

No other contribution is needed.

But here's my plan for this year anyway, which I've already emailed to those interested in helping, at their request:

2016 plan for life at current apartment:

1) stay alive

2) live here until I move out  (of my own accord) later THIS year

2016 plan for life at 'permanent' new apartment:

1) pay less rent

2) rescue/adopt a feline companion

3) start my 'from-home' business to supplement my Social Security Disability

4) succeed at it enough to get off of SSD

ALL of the above while continuing to pay everything forward, of course.

BTW, I came to the hard realization a long time ago that I'll likely never own/lease my own vehicle again, and thereby have total freedom again.

But if I can ever afford to take cabs/Uber when it's neccessary & get house calls for my future cat companion(s), in addition to any earthly angels still helping me get around every now & then, that's OK.

Money gives options, but you can live without them.

I'm not aware of how this all works, but if you are low income and living on SSD, are you also in rent controlled housing?  If you are indeed on Section 8, is it legal for your landlord to charge the additional fees?  Wouldn't he have an agreement with the government housing agency?

Secondly, with regards to your plans for the remainder of this year.  If daily living is such a struggle with your limited income, do you really think it's wise to add a cat and the expenses that come along with that?  Wouldn't it be wiser to live as frugally as possible and bank whatever you can?  Or, being on assistance, are you not allowed to have any savings?

@missy1 well that is very sad. It is sad when people prey on the kindness of others and pull on your heart strings. You hear about it happening all the time and, ironically, one reason I don't ever donate to a GFM account or anything like that because of all the scams and misappropriation of the money. I am not saying 100% I know this is the case with FG but things aren't adding up and I am starting to feel uncomfortable about it all.
