Glucosamine

My dog is a kind of an old timer. Okay, he's a super old timer, 18 years 9 months old. His gait is stiff and I'm wondering if glucosamine might help.

Can anyone recommend a pet glucosamine?

Does anyone give their pets human grade glucosamine?

I am going to contact his doctor regarding the latter, but wanted to check in here first to see if anyone uses the people kind.

If you do use either, have you noticed it made a difference for your pet?
