I recently rescued a brussels griffon mix dog. He was supposed to be a 3 month old heathy puppy but when we got to the the shelter he was 2 years old malnourished, half bald, had pneumonia and tapeworm ,and was blind in one eye. Well 7 months nd $2000.00 later, he is a chubby, happy, wonderful addition to our household. We recently took him to an opthamologist and was told his blind eye is actually a prosthetic due to glaucoma and eventually he will lose his other eye. I am heartbroken. He is now taking drops twice a day to maintain is good eye as long as possble.....anyone know or has had any experience with this??? any info or advise will be greatly appreciated.Thanks.
