I don't understand why this would have been okay if Joan had said it. (I heard Whoopie and another celebrity say that.) I liked Joan but I remember her making a joke about the Malaysian plane crash shortly after it happened. I was horrified but no one made a big deal about that.

Yep...yep...yep.

This has to be one of the most ignorant statements I have heard anyone make. Someone makes a statement about dreadlocks, and Sheryl Nobody has to take it to this low-class level. But are we all supposed to just fl*ff it off as Sheryl being Sheryl. Now I know why I don't waste time watching The Talk.
OK...that is far worse then what Giuliana said. Wow...

Yes ...far far worse. I am wondering what Sharon had to say about it. Anyone see the Talk and hear Sharons opinion?

No I can imagine...she and Kelly can be quite rude and hurtful themselves.

I think it's time for the show to end. They are just too hypocritical. Kelly made a comment once while Joan was still on that she felt bad criticizing a dress choice or something along those lines and Joan looked right at her and told her "then you're on the wrong show honey."
And last night as I watched G on HSN selling her clothes, she said hair and fashion aren't permanent and should be fun. She went on to say that she sometimes gets tweets from people telling her that what she is wearing is too young or too old and she said "says who."
But this is the kind of stuff they continually talk about on FP.

The tweets are probably from people on these boards.
I like her answer.

I like her answer too but it's quite hypocritical in light of what she says on FP where she routinely disses someone for wearing a dress that is too old for them or too young for them. And if her attitude really is that you should have fun with your hair, why did she say anything about Zendaya's? Or why does she say anything about anyone's hair?

A case of Do As I Say and Not As I Do?
Or something like that.
I think with Joan gone both she and Kelly just got a little bolder. And not in a good way.
