Good for you!  If she's between 15-17 a nice bracelet or some hair "jewelry" might be fun or, something along the lines of studded out barrets and things like that..  By hair acessories.  I mean something like the following:

Not only that, she pretty much said in the OP that she had decided *not* to get flowers, and why. People don't even read the Original Post now? Or just ignore it? SMH.

I read the OP's note about flowers.  I just think that if you must get a gift for this occasion, flowers are the way to go.  Doesn't matter that "everyone else" is doing it.

Some mentioned a charm. If she does not like bracelets, I am thinking a earrings or necklace.

If she made the outfit she is modeling.  A nice sissors set, or sissors, with small sewing products that you know she uses, threads, needles, thimble.
