A coffee cup with a favorite picture on it.  My mother had a coffee cup made for me with a picture of my sister, brother, and I when we were little.  I cherish that thing!

My grandparents are all in their 90's and they really enjoy CDs of their favorite music from their younger days.

 We're actually in pretty close touch.  We talk on the phone and exchange notes, photos, & emails all the time.  My entire family is scattered all over the world, so we've all found ways to stay close.  Skype is one of her favorite things, and we're very up-to-date on each other's daily lives.  (She emails me while she's on her exercise bike!)

This is why I need help!  :-) It's not easy!  She has everything she wants and people to take care of all her needs (cleaning, cooking, etc), in addition to a very loving & attentive 92 y.o. husband.  :-)  So it's really been hard to think of something that I know she will love.  Thank you so much for your ideas!

Please please please no "stuff."  People at this age do NOT need more stuff for them or someone else to deal with.  It is overwhelming to clean and to get rid of in the future.  I'd go with a book, a gift card, restaurant gift cards or such and most of all YOUR LOVE!

I don't know your aunt, but I can only put myself in her situation.  We are also retired, although much younger than she, but with a lot of "stuff."  With many thanks to God, we are able to have a nice lifestyle.  I wonder if she might be touched by a donation to a charity aimed at children.  You might want to see if your cousins would join in on this.  There are charities who provide needed surgeries to children in poor countries or US-based charities such as St. Jude's Hospital, where children with cancer are treated for free.  We've given to both, and it such a good feeling.

How much time do you have?   When my Grandma was 90 we all went in and made her a family quilt.   Everyone who wanted to participate was sent a square for the kids to decorate.  We did the kids handprints and put their names on it.  The older kids did their own decoration and put their names on it.   She loved it.

This could be a good idea.  The OP has told us her aunt and uncle are 'young' for their ages; however, music triggers memories for the aged.

There are many great gift ideas here!  Several years ago my husband and I wanted to do something very unique and special for a family member, so we named a star after him thru International Star Registry,   The cost was under $100.  We framed the beautiful certificate and map before giving it to him, and he immediately found someone with a telescope to help him see "his" star in the night sky.   He truly loved that gift, and until he died, he swore his star was the brightest star in the sky, which is exactly how we continue to think of him to this day.

Is anybody hiring a photographer for the party?  If not, hire a photographer to take pictures and then make sure he/she takes a group picture with your aunt.  Have the group picture framed and the photographer/pictures/framed picture could be your gift.

I also like the idea of getting them tickets to a play or musical event and providing transportation for them to go.
