The day I've dreaded for weeks has arrived. Two of my 5 cats are due for rabies shots and checkups and while the vet does house calls, they have a way of disappearing when she arrives.
I find that if I can crate them and get them to the vet, they are frozen and easier to treat.
The trick is crating them....I'm off to try to get two at once.....DH is doing one and I'm doing one....separate crates.
We have tried to be calm, but they always seem to know! I'm sure they can sense something is up.....no matter how calm I act.
If anyone has any suggestions/tricks for doing this without stressing the cat, I would love to learn. I've never found a way...once they hate being crated, it never ends.
Let me just say I would rather chew off a limb.
Wish me luck.
