Wow  amazing you didn't post any link to a site but would rather all posters after you Google this news to try to determine details.  Just wow.

I loved how he sang Queen songs.  He did justice to Freddie Mercury, another fantastic artist gone way to soon.

RIP, George Michael.

I love his version of "Last Christmas" so much more than any other.  Last week I downloaded it.  All of the local radio stations have been playing Taylor Swift's version and it's nowhere near as good.

Such a talented man.  May he rest in peace.

I am listening to it now.

It's so pretty!

Real "Christmas feeling" to it.

"I Want Your Sex" was so edgy on MTV.

He really broke through mainstream & brought AIDS Awareness

to the forefront during the 80's. This song was all about saying

monogamy & safe sex was needed.  It was a scary time for everyone

back then, no matter what your sexual orientation was.

'Freedom' is definitely on my playlist.

Wow.  So sad.  This was one that really hits home for me.

RIP.

Yes it was @sidsmom! I LOVED THAT SONG!! That came out the summer of 87 right before my senior year of high school. Whenever I hear that song, it takes me right back to that summer which was one of the most fun of my youth. I had my license and had my first taste of freedom. When that songs comes on, I can even remember the scents of that summer and it smells a lot like Bartles and James peach wine coolers!

Gee whiz, PEARLEY....do you always have to admonish posters over the silliest things?  What?  We are in your court and have to bow to "thy Majesty"???...think not.

Thanks MELLIE for letting us know.  I appreciate it.  I am sad to see so many entertainers leave us this year.

I LOVED that song also @Pandalady. To be honest, there really isn't a Wham or George Michael song I didn't love. I had such a crush on him. I can't remember ever thinking he was gay and I had no chance, lol!!! Back in 1984 no one even talked about that like they do now.
