George Michael  touched just about every genre of music- rock, pop and soul. He even sang with Tony Bennett.  I think he jsut missed rap!

In his first Wham album, he actually did a rap/musical song called Wham Rap (Enjoy Yourself). Not really his genre, though.

Wake Me Up Before You Go Go....what great memories that time and that song bring back to me!!  I wonder if musicians know how poignant their songs are to people...ordinary people living their lives from day to day....I hope he somehow knew.

I'm grateful to him for such uplifting, wonderful music.  May he sing with the angels now!

Last night I had a dream I went on a date with George.

I know that could never happen lol but it was a lovely dream.

He picked me up in a convertible and flashed that pretty smile and said hello.

I have been listening to his music a lot the last few days.
