At Costco, in store it is 13.00. It is delicious. I usually don't care for this type of cereal but I love it.

@Sheila P-Burg

My way of eating includes many of the General Mills cereals, and every single day. I do not eat "meals", I graze throughout the day, eating them sans milk and other things many people like to add.

I buy lots of cereal, mostly from this company, but always when they are on sale, say 2 family size boxes for $5. My wife says "cheap", I say I am "frugal". One thing I can tell you for sure is that until it comes way, way down a bunch in price, it's a no sale to this old guy!

Every so often I indulge in some cereal. It is always Post's " Great Grains with pecans."  You can get it with raisins or dried cranberries, but I prefer just the added nuts. The specs are pretty good for cereal, and the 3/4 cup with some unsweetened almond milk is quite satisfying, and no where near as expensive as the cereal mentioned in the OP.

I hardly ever eat cereal but that's what I like. I did just eat a bowl yesterday. I have 3 large boxes. DH eats it too. I also use unsweetened almond milk.

I would try it at that price. It is a large box.

The cereal aimed at health-conscious consumers also contains organic coconut oil and pumpkin seeds. For sweetness, General Mills added dried sugary cranberries and dried cherries to the blend.

The sales price is part of a strategy to offer "compelling innovation" and "health benefits" that give consumers a reason to walk down the cereal aisle at grocery stores, Harmening said.

i would have tried it but i am not fond of nuts or seeds in my cereal.

It doesn't sound particularly healthful at all. High in calories, sugar, and fat.

We love Special K Protein Original flavor.
