Gator or Godzilla in Naples, FL ?

Holy Moly!

A gigantic gator spotted stomping its way across a Florida golf course has sent social media into a frenzy.

The menacing beast was captured on video by golfer Jeff Jones at Valencia Golf and Country Club, in Naples, as Hurricane Eta swept through the region earlier this week.

And this ¿creature¿ didn¿t appear to be far off the record measurement

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission has not yet returned a DailyMail.com request for comment on Wednesday's sighting.

You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

Started hearing Blue Oyster Cult's "Godzilla" in my head lol. That is one big reptile for sure! And I'm pretty sure no one is going to play through that hole while he's hanging around. "Crikey"

It's just a gator. If there's a ditch in Florida with an inch of not-salted water in it, there's a gator in in. It's a golf course with water hazards. Of course there's at least one beast living there, and of course the photo is set up to make him look as big as possible.

There are a couple of large gators on the courses I play. Just stay away from them. It's not that hard.

Wow! I'm not an expert, but that guy looks really BIG! I hope they don't kill him/her. Non-human animals don't scare me (well, except for bees), so I would hope s/he finds a home away from the neighborhood.
