It's $2.12/gallon here. Then Shell gives some customers 5cents a gallon off plus we get 20% off because we buy gasoline gift cards at Publix $40 for a $50 card. it's a promotion they have about once a month. So in the end it costs us , right now ,$1.67.

In S Florida it ranges from $2-3, depending on what economic neighborhood you live in. It should be cheaper here or other cities like here, that are right next to the ports, not where it has to be trucked to the pump a hundred or thousands of miles inland.  Gas prices= whatever the market will bear!  Greed, sad.

In West Texas, you can fill up for $1.80. I can't remember the last time it was that low.

@Lipstickdiva  It's been hovering a little over or under $2.00 here on the east side of Cleveland. I'm at a half tank right now, so if history repeats itself, the day I decide to fill up it will jump at least 30 cents!  (I have to wait until I need at least 10 gallons to get my Speedy rewards 200 pt bonus!)

@2blonde, but of course.  Same always happens with me.  I decide I'll "get it tomorrow" and wham!

We have a gas station here that takes 5 cents off on Wednesdays and Sundays.  They are always the cheapest gas station in town.  Until Sunday and Wednesday.  Then they raise it to give the 5 cents off so it's really not a deal.
