Re: Gas Prices Where You Live

Just paid $4.799 (not a typo) for regular unleaded in a suburb east of San Francisco, Chevron station.

Luckily my car is small and I hardly drive these days so it lasts "forever."

Plus, it was raining so hard, I got a free wash from Mother Nature.

Re: Gas Prices Where You Live

Gas prices in Southeast NC around $3.29 a gallon.  I'm very grateful that we can whether this but there are so many people that can't and my heart breaks for those that can't.  I have gone past mad to very sad.  This is just too much.  I don't see anything changing anytime soon.

I'm in the Cleveland area.  We are generally around $3.19.

I can get anywhere from 10-30 cents off a gallon at my grocery store's gas station as long as I use advantage pay.  Right now they are doing 30 cents off so I paid $2.97 to fill up yesterday.  That is less than even Sam's Club.

I also earn money off of gas at this grocery store.  They allow a maximum of 30 gallons and it has to be in 1 car or in gas cans.  Neither of our cars have 30 gallon tanks so we either wait until our truck needs gas or we fill gas cans with the 30 gallons.  Our cars only have 15 gallon tanks and no way am I wasting 15 gallons of gas at the reduced price.
