We are going to see Garth Brooks in Nashville in late July. We're not used to the hot, humid weather of the South. Does anyone know if The Nissan Stadium allows the personal battery operated neck fans?

@MESPal    You could call them and ask.

@MESPal I don't know about the personal fans.....but I live in Nashville and Congratulations! on actually getting tickets! I heard that the sellout was maybe the fastest in history! Hope you have a great time in this wonderful city! And, I'm not so sure a fan would actually help....it's going to be crazy hot...I'd just relax and "go with it." Have fun!

I don't see anything about battery operated fans on the stadium website.

They want you to use a clear plastic bag to get through security.

Here are banned items:

  • any non-transparent bag larger than 4.5” x 6.5”
    • coolers or containers, including glass bottles, cans (aerosol and non-aerosol), thermos, hard plastic tumbler
    • metal flasks, metal cigar/cigarette cases
    • seat cushions, folding and/or standalone chairs
    • umbrellas
    • strollers or baby seats
    • camera lenses over 6”, video cameras/recording devices, tripods
    • poles, selfie sticks, sticks of any kind
    • drones, unmanned aircraft
    • horns, whistles or other noisemakers
    • weapons of any kind (including pocket knives)
    • outside food/beverages
    • illegal drugs or substances, any alcoholic beverage
    • animals, except service animals assisting guests with disabilities
    • footballs, inflatable balls, balloons
    • battery-operated warmers are not permitted in any clothing or blankets
    • any headwear or apparel with hazardous attachments including, but not limited to, spikes and blades
    • lights (flashlights, LED lights, any battery-operated lights)
    • anything that creates a nuisance or disruption

Battery operated warmers are banned but they don't say fans. Might want to bring a manual hand fan with you and/or a cooling towel just in case they don't let you take in your battery fan.

By the way, if you wanted to wear a hat with spikes and blades on it (what even is this about?), you're out of luck. Woman Very Happy

Assuming the concert will be in the evening, temps should get a little bit lower after the sun goes down. Right now we're much cooler than the PNW. It's about 87.

@MESPal

Lucky! I would love to see Garth in concert! But, (sigh!) ticket prices aren't cheap (not that he isn't worth it, cuz he is!) then trying to get the time off of work, then the costs of traveling to see him (hotel, airfare, etc), and it adds up real quick.

It's probably going to remain a wish unfulfilled.

Have fun at the concert!!!!😀 😀 😀 😀

All tickets are $84-90. He’s so fair to his fans! This is my second time. First time was in ‘93!

Those prices seem very reasonable compared to other prices I have seen for other entertainers.  I enjoy him and I love watching Trisha's Yearwood's cooking shows.  I am sure you will have a great timeSmiley Happy
