Gallbladder Removal and Weight Gain

Fot those who have had their gallbaldders removed. Is it true that you gain weight after the removal of the gallbladder? MyDH is having his Gallbladder removed and is worried about weight gain. I do know of 2 people that have had their gallbladders removed and have gained a lot of weight and blame it on there gall baldder removal. Is this a fact or fiction? I thought I would ask here.
