My husband and I went to Tucson yesterday because he had a doctor's appointment. When he was done we decided to drive by a restaurant we were thinking of going to one day for dinner. We just wanted to take a look at it from the outside.

We made a couple turns and were coming to a red light at a signal when I noticed a whole bunch of flowers and signs and balloons in front of a building on our left.

Turns out it was Gabrielle Giffords' Tucson office on the corner of Pima and Swan. We didn't stop, but noticed a few people standing and walking near the "memorial." It was weird how I felt, seeing it in person after watching so many hours of local TV here about the whole terrible event.

Glad to hear that Gabby seems to be moving forward so well in her rehab. We need her back so much - even if not back to Congress - just back.
