Have you checked with "Golden Rescue Sites"?

My wife has been part of a "Boxer Rescue" for many years and we have fostered several over that time. A few were even puppies. They can be adopted for a pretty nominal fee. Of course if you will only except one with "papers", that's different.

All our many animals have been "rescues", in one way or another. Many looking for homes, but never enough rescuers.

As much as I love Goldens....and miss my sweet Lola....I my go,den who passed away a year and a half ago....will never again have one with the inbreeding causing them to get cancer and die early deaths. I can not go through the worry of it all.

I'm so happy for you! They totally ARE the best and I am so honored that I got my boy, who just turned 11 in July, as I fell in love with them back when QVC had Murphy, who was often on set being so cute and sweet.
