Our governor is Charlie Baker and he has great compassion and integrity. I'm so grateful for all of the work he has done for Massachusetts!

Not gonna happen.
@Snowpuppy His business, don’t you think? No pun intended.

About 10 days ago New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees and his wife Brittany donated $5 million to the state of Louisiana to provide 10,000 meals a day to children, seniors and families in need due to CV. They said that they would continue to provide as long as it was needed. No surprise - this is typical of Drew Brees, who is a genuinely good guy.

On a smaller local scale the hair salon that I use in the Atlanta area Van Michael sent an email to all of the customers letting us know that they are paying the stylists and employees their salary while they are closed. The email said that so many of the customers called the corporate office wanting to know what they could do to help the employees. The email said just come back when we reopen. This is what a good company does for their employees.

As has been noted on this post by many, every donation, whether from rich or poor, famous or not famous, young and old, from all walks of life, all cultures and races are welcome.
All money donations are very important, that is a fact. But the people on the front lines, Doctors, Nurses, all hospital personnel, skilled and unskilled workers, teachers, farmers, people providing services at supermarkets, restaurants, police, firemen/women and emergency personnel are heroes every single day. If I omitted anyone I apologize but my point being acts of kindness, love for others and generosity all done quietly and without fanfare. God bless them all, as they will get us through this nightmare.

Twitter founder Jack Dorsey has donated a billion dollars. And provided a public Google document so that anyone can track how the money is being distributed.

Battelle cleared to sterilize N95 masks at max capacity, operate in other states to fight coronavirus PPE shortage

Columbus, Ohio (March 29, 2020)—The U.S. FDA has approved Columbus-based non-profit Battelle’s request to begin sterilizing surgical masks for reuse during the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic.
The FDA has amended its initial approval, granted early Sunday, now allowing Battelle to sterilize the N95 surgical masks without a daily limit.
The revised order authorizes Battelle to decontaminate up to 10,000 compatible N95 respirator masks per chamber load, with the machine able to process four chambers per sterilization process. Battelle said it can run two sterilization processes per machine per day, sterilizing 80,000 masks per machine.
Sterilized masks can be reused up to 20 times. Once that limit is reached, the masks are discarded. Battelle CEO Lewis Von Thaer said they are currently limited to only sterilizing N95 masks, but it is moving toward gaining approval for other PPE like ventilator parts.
