@jubilant You can make returns to Amazon without a printer. Just drop off at Kohls or UPS store. They will box and print a label for you. Refunds are nearly instant.

I don't go to Kohls for returns because it is too far for me to walk, but I do go to UPS.  Park right by the door.  For some items, you can do it yourself.  I've done it many times.

But you do have to have a printer.  You just print the QR code on your printer, take it with you, scan it, get the receipt,  put the item in the plastic bags they supply, paste the receipt shut on the bag and drop it in the receptacle and get your receipt for the items.  It's fun.

Printer not needed at all.  You can pull up the QR code on your phone and svan, etc.

They are still hiring new hosts for both HSN & QVC, so hopefully it's not that bad.  Why hire if you will lay off people.

I'm shocked that anyone would accept a job there.  Maybe they think that even a few months (or more) of tv coverage would get their name out there for future jobs.

@Patriot3 You don't need a printer for a QR code. It goes directly to your cellphone and they scan it.

Online shopping is outdated IMHO. Why go through the hassels of slow shipping, canceled orders, checking for reviews....I could go on.

I think many people are just worn out with the same old stuff and vendors on constant repeat. Watching these channels were great at one time, but outlived their usefulness. No more "Quality, Value and Convenience".

@Shanus

I assume you meant to say that TV shopping is outdated? Online shopping is the most prevalent kind of shopping today. I haven't done any TV shopping in years but I shop online, including QVC, all of the time

@santorini  I assume lots of people around the area would take a job there. Most of the jobs are entry level..warehouse, packing, checking. The jobs people might take for entry level, starter jobs, part time, second jobs, etc. I think they are fairly nice to employees, and nothing will fold  for a while. Even Hosts might want to start out there.  I am sure everyone in PA knows of QVC's financial position. I am also sure most of the jobs offered are part Ike, or like up to 32 hrs or so, soo no benefits, etc. sometimes, a job is a job for many

@silver Goldie You'd be smiling, too, if you were earning millions of dollars.

There's always a lot to be thankful for if you take time to look for it.
For example, I am sitting here thinking how nice it is that wrinkles don't hurt.

And if terminated prior to December 31, 2027, he collects another tidy sum!

@silver Goldie  I'd have a great smile for my corporate photo too if I was selected and voted and elected to be CEO, more than once, by a Board of Directors and stakeholders -- and make that kind of money!
