I heard a rumor that Tik Tok was making Q a big hit. I guess not enough and not sure it was true to begin with.

Online shopping is outdated IMHO. Why go through the hassels of slow shipping, canceled orders, checking for reviews....I could go on.

You don't really mean online shopping, do you?  That's the only way I shop except for groceries.  I don't experience slow shipping, cancelled orders and I don't really care about reviews on most items.

I'm always amused by all the forum members not shopping here and predicting QVCs demise but post here daily.  It boggles my mind really.  😂

@Caaareful Shopper   I agree about TV shopping per se but online shopping is here to stay.   I can see empty shopping malls in the near future

Doesn't look like they have released the 4th quarter yet.  Not a good sign.

TV shopping is getting outdated in it's current form but it should aboslutely be the one area that should be able to adapt to a social media platform.

I wonder what's going through all the Q employees' minds these days.  Especially those close to retirement like PJD  JRT for example as well as those behind the scenes who have been there since inception.

@Teddixat  I don't thing PJD, JRT, etc have any worries.  They have already put their time in - everything else is icing on the cake.

It seems to me when QVC stopped sending return labels in packages things started going down hill.  I know a lot of seniors can't get out anymore and many can't even drive to make the return.  While I can still get out I know many cannot.

I buy a lot from Amazon but no longer have a printer so even with Amazon I only buy what I know I like and won't have to return. I used to purchase a lot more from QVC but for years now hardly ever do. Where clothes are concerned, I only buy close to home where I can try it on.  These days it's all about simplifying...  for me at least.

They are still hiring new hosts for both HSN & QVC, so hopefully it's not that bad.  Why hire if you will lay off people.

@jubilant You can make returns to Amazon without a printer. Just drop off at Kohls or UPS store. They will box and print a label for you. Refunds are nearly instant.

I think I would be a little leery about accepting a position there now as a host on air.

I don't go to Kohls for returns because it is too far for me to walk, but I do go to UPS.  Park right by the door.  For some items, you can do it yourself.  I've done it many times.

But you do have to have a printer.  You just print the QR code on your printer, take it with you, scan it, get the receipt,  put the item in the plastic bags they supply, paste the receipt shut on the bag and drop it in the receptacle and get your receipt for the items.  It's fun.
