Fruit Cake

I was in a B&M store yesterday. The cashiers are trained to ask if you found everything you were looking for. I said I couldn't find fruit cake. She told me it was a seasonal item. The Christmas music is blaring, there are wreaths and poinsettias everywhere but fruit cake is seasonal? I asked if there was eggnog and got a dirty look-I always thought that was seasonal.
