First frost of the year this morning.  For me, it's hard to believe it's October already -- and now, this frost proves it!

I am not ready.

...not that I'm saying the frost adds to this "nightmare year"...I just meant...it's the frost already, and due to this crazy year...it just feels like here we are, and it feels like we barely experienced the other seasons yet..cuz....we didn't really....  is what it is...hang in there.

I am more than ready! I've been waiting for this since last May. I love fall and winter. It's when I come back to life after enduring the hellish summer heat.

I love fall and the cooler temps, changing colors, crisp air........ ahhhh..... but I seem to have missed spring and summer.  How can it be October and frosty mornings already?

I'm exact opposite...I come alive Spring/Summer...heat and all! Love it. But I get you...and you are not alone feeling that way...lots of people prefer the cooler temps. Then again..I'm in New England...where the winters are awful...and wayyyyyy too dark and lonnnnnnnng, and drearrrrrry. And summers, beautiful, and all too brief.  I get how those in Texas, Fla etc, get more intense heat for a lonnnng time. So it's kind of the "flip" from our experience.  That's why this year, God willing and Covid doesn't get in the way...we are heading South. Not enduring winter here this year.

Lucky you. We are still in the never ending summer. It was 106 in Phoenix  yesterday.

This is our coolest morning yet also, but no frost. I think I am ready for a change, whether its cooler weather or what. I feel like we are stuck on groundhog day.

First snow of the year this morning — thankfully it wasn’t much and has since melted.
