A good friend was really making me laugh at an inappropriate time recently. Made me think of this....

@wilma What immediately came to mind was the scene in Downton Abbey when Sybil gets a letter telling her a young man she knew had been killed in the war.

She was telling Isobel that he made her laugh out loud at Imogen's ball when the girl's uncle was giving a speech.

@QVCkitty1   I have that friend at work and while she constantly makes me laugh during meetings, she can control herself so who do u think gets called out?  Sometimes I have to leave and go out in the hall to laugh.  She's an absolute one woman comedy show...she's hysterical.  Love her and glad she's my friend.  There are times I have to shut my office door because we are laughing hysterically to the point of crying.  All that laughter is sooooo good for you.

It reminds me of the Mary Tyler Moore episode of the funeral of Chuckles the clown, titled Chuckles Bites the Dust.

Apparently, he had been dressed up in a parade like a peanut and a rogue elephant "shelled" him, according to Lou Grant.

No one could keep it together and it was quite hilarious.

This was always tricky with my best friend back in my school days.  We worshipped in the same church as well and sometimes.......

@Imaoldhippie I read the first couple of comments and thought, I could use a good laugh this morning. Then I read your post and my wish was granted...LOL. Perfect caption.
