Live life with an attitude of gratitude and partner with God in all that you
do.
Lord, thank You because I am blessed and highly favored.

Scripture for the day:

"Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; and there are
varieties of services, but the same Lord; and there are varieties of
activities, but it is the same God who activates all of them in everyone.
To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good."
~1 Corinthians 12:4-7

Meditation for the day:

God can be the great interpreter of one human personality to another.
Even personalities who are the nearest together have much in their natures
that remains a sealed book to each other. And only as God enters and leads
their lives are the mysteries of each revealed to the other. Each
personality is so different. God alone understands perfectly the language
of each and can interpret between the two. Here we can find the miracles of
change and the true interpretation of life.

Prayer for the day:

I pray that I may be in the right relationship to God. I pray that God will
interpret to me the personalities of other people, so that I can understand
them and better help them.

Hello my friends! Today I was in tears as Sammy's leg seemed worse when
Linus touched him when he got home from work and he yiped, I called the vet,
made an appointment for tomorrow morning with later they called to make it
at noon to bring him in and leave him until a surgeon checked him over for a
second opinion. When we found out it would cost $100.00 for just that
visit - and if they do want to do surgery on him, how much would that be?
More than we can afford, that's for sure, then we talked about that the only
alternative then would be to put him down, and I cried, and thought, no,
he's got too much life in him for that, he's only 8. So we can't afford
surgery - or even the visit tomorrow, but we can call it off and leave him
heal without surgery with God. We are praying for his healing. Right after
we called it off for tomorrow we both felt such peace that that was the
right decision. Linus has bible study tonight, his heart was so heavy he
didn't even think he could go, but after we decided not to take Sammy in, he
felt much better and he went. I feel much better too. Sammy was himself at
Suppertime - when he yipped that time, I gave him a pain pill. He does a
lot of resting - that should be healing. Anyway - the point to all of this
tonight is to put our trust in God and we are. Thanks all for praying for
him. And know that I'm praying for you all too.

Put me in remembrance; let us contend together; state your case,
that you may be aquitted.
-Isaiah 43:26

You Can Be Healed

If you are waiting for the full manifestation of healing to come into your
body or mind, put God in remembrance of His Word by speaking His Word. Jesus
defeated satan by "It is written." You can defeat him this way, too.

Here are some healing promises which are legally yours by inheritance as a
heir of God and a joint-heir of Jesus Christ. Meditate upon these promises
daily. Speak them aloud, putting God in remembrance of His promises...

By Jesus' stripes I am healed. (1Peter 2:24)

It is God's will that I prosper and be in health, just as my soul prospers.
(3John 2)

The Lord is my healer: (Ex. 15:26)

Jesus came that I may enjoy life and have it overflowing abundance. (John
10:10)

As I serve the Lord, sickness is taken from my midst. (Ex. 23:25)

Healing is one of God's benefits. (Ps. 103:3)

Jesus is the serpent of the pole lifted up in the New Covenant for my
healing and deliverance. (John 3:14)

God sent His Word and healed me. (Ps. 107:20)

I pay attention to God's Word, for it is life to my body and health to my
flesh. (Prov. 4:20-22)

God gives me good and perfect gifts. He has no sickness or disease to give
me. (James 1:17)

As I submit to God and resist the devil, he must flee from me. Sickness and
disease must flee from me. (James 4:7)

Jesus is able and willing to heal me. (Matt. 8:1-2)

BEST POEM IN THE WORLD

I was shocked, confused, bewildered
As I entered Heaven's door,
Not by the beauty of it all,
Nor the lights or its decor.

But it was the folks in Heaven
Who made me sputter and gasp--
The thieves, the liars, the sinners,
The alcoholics and the trash.

There stood the kid from seventh grade
Who swiped my lunch money twice.
Next to him was my old neighbor
Who never said anything nice.

Herb, who I always thought
Was rotting away in h ell,
Was sitting pretty on cloud nine,
Looking incredibly well.

I nudged Jesus, 'What's the deal?
I would love to hear Your take.
How'd all these sinners get up here?
God must've made a mistake.

'And why is everyone so quiet,
So somber - give me a clue.'
'Hush, child,' He said, 'they're all in shock.
No one thought they'd be seeing you.'

JUDGE NOT!!

Remember...Just going to church doesn't make you a
Christian any more than standing in your garage makes you a car.

Every saint has a PAST...
Every sinner has a FUTURE!
Now it's your turn... Share this poem.

Get Out of Your Own Way

Be careful what you ask for, you just might get it:

Your words, your dreams, and your thoughts have power to create conditions
in your life.

What you speak about, you can bring about. If you keep saying you can't
stand your job, you might lose your job.

If you keep saying you can't stand your body, your body can become sick.

If you keep saying you can't stand your car, your car could be stolen or
just stop operating.

If you keep saying you're always broke, guess what? You'll always be broke.

If you keep saying you can't trust a man or trust a woman, you will always
find someone in your life to hurt and betray you.

If you keep saying you can't find a job, you will remain unemployed.

If you keep saying you can't find someone to love you or believe in you,
your very thoughts will attract more experiences to confirm your beliefs.

Turn your thoughts and conversations around to be more positive and power
packed with faith, hope, love and action.

Don't be afraid to believe that you can have what you want and deserve.

Watch your "thoughts," they become words.

Watch your "words," they become actions.

Watch your "actions," they become habits.

Watch your "habits," they become character.

Watch your "character," for it becomes your "Destiny."

GET OUT OF YOUR OWN WAY!

The Seven Wonders

I heard about a group of Geography students who studied the Seven Wonders of
the World. At the end of that section, the students were asked to list what
they each considered to be the Seven Wonders of the World.

Though there was some disagreement, the following got the most votes:
Egypt's Great Pyramids, the Taj Mahal, the Grand Canyon, the Panama Canal,
the Empire State Building, St. Peter's Basilica and China's Great Wall.

While gathering the votes, the teacher noted that one student, a quiet girl,
hadn't turned in her paper yet. So she asked the girl if she was having
trouble with her list.

The quiet girl replied, "Yes, a little. I couldn't quite make up my mind
because there were so many."

The teacher said, "Well, tell us what you have, and maybe we can help."

The girl hesitated, then read, "I think the Seven Wonders of the World are,
to touch and to taste, to see and to hear . . . " She hesitated a little,
"and then, to run and to laugh and to love."

It is far too easy for us to look at the exploits of man and refer to them
as "wonders" while we overlook all that God has done, regarding them as
merely "ordinary."

May you be reminded today of those things which are truly wondrous!

This is an essay written by a twelve-year-old
girl.

When I was asked to write about a missionary I
know, a few people crossed my mind, like Mother
Teresa. Then I thought, "But I can't write about
one of those great people, because I don't really
know them."

The person I think is a missionary, and a good
one, is my mother. This may sound peculiar, but
you don't have to be ordained to be a missionary.

My mum's mission is to be a housewife and mother
to me and our family. My mum has never been
selfish and put herself first before her family.
I have never been starved or without her endless
love. And just like the famous missionaries, my
mother has needed a lot of courage. She could
easily have gone off to bingo and left me, but
she didn't. She made the supreme sacrifice of
thinking about me before herself. I am very lucky
to have a missionary mother.

There is a time for everything. He has made everything beautiful in its
time. I know that everything God does will endure forever; nothing can be
added to it and nothing taken from it. Ecclesiasted 3:1, 11, 14

A Different Season

We strolled casually along, crunching dry leaves underfoot. Autumn leaf
color had peaked. The last vestige of fall was visible on the short path
around the mountain lake.

Apricot and gold leaves silently floated from scratchy bare branches, piling
up under trees where there had been a shady canopy of graceful green trees
meeting overhead.

This was a different season from the last time we’d been at the lake. During
this next season, these lovely, large trees could rest for awhile. In fact
they would soon be laced with snow, predicted for later in the week.

In life we have more than four seasons. All of them are good, all a gift,
although sometimes it doesn’t seem that way. If, however, we search out
reasons, there might be a valuable lesson involved or perhaps just a chance
to rest and refuel.

Whatever it is, different seasons are part of God’s big plan. And that’s
good news.

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper
you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11

Mary, my Mother, you have a great desire to see Jesus loved;
obtain for me this grace - to love Him with a love that is exceeding great,
and to love no other but Him.

My Lady, you always obtain from your Son all that you ask Him for.
Pray then for me and console me.
Ask for me also a great love for yourself who are so much loved by God.

Through the sorrows that you bore on Calvary,
when you looked on Jesus dying on the cross before your eyes,
obtain for me a good death.

Thus, dear Mother, loving Jesus and you in this life,
I shall come to love you eternally in paradise.
