love I pray for abundant blessings for my family and friends.

Meditation for the day:

I can believe that my faith in God's power can accomplish anything.
There is no limit to what these two things can do. When we believe,
anything can happen. Saint Paul said: "I can do all things through him
who strengthens me." All walls that divide us from other human beings
can fall by our faith and God's power. These are the two essentials.
Everyone an be moved by these.

Prayer for the day:

I pray that I may try to strengthen my faith day by day. I pray that I
may rely more and more on God's power.

Hello my friends! The first sentence here is what this thread is all about -
praying for others, also with posting our blessings which we know only comes
from God!
Today's blessings were a very laid back day today - with my sister gone back
now, I rested and just took it easy today - no big meals to do, just catch
up on sleep! I think I napped for an hour and a half, I was so tired! The
day today was very nice and comfortable out. Blessings from God, I won't
ignore thanking Him. Praying for all of you for all your needs and
intentions, and thank you for praying for us.

Make a Right onto "Believeth Blvd."

Keep straight and go through the Green Light, which is Jesus Christ.

From there, you must turn onto the "Bridge of Faith," which is over
troubled water.

When you get off the bridge, make a Right turn and Keep Straight.

You are on the "King's Highway" - Heaven-bound.

Keep going for three miles: One for the Father, One for the Son, and
One for the Holy Ghost.

Then exit off onto "Grace Blvd."

From there, make a Right turn on "Gospel Lane."

Keep Straight and then make another Right on "Prayer Blvd."

As you go on your way, Yield Not to the traffic on "Temptation Ave."

Also, avoid SIN STREET because it is a DEAD END.

Pass up "Envy Drive," and "Have Avenue."

Also, pass "Hypocrisy Street," "Gossiping Lane" and "Backbiting Blvd."

But you have to go down "Long-suffering Lane", "Persecution Blvd.,"
and "Trials and Tribulations Ave."

But that's all right, because VICTORY Blvd. is straight ahead!

Never Be Discouraged


There is really nothing we need to know

A LITTLE STORY

This is a story about four people named
Everybody,
Somebody,
Anybody, and
Nobody.

There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that
Somebody would do it. Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.

Somebody got angry about that, because it was Everybody's job.
Everybody thought Anybody could do it but
Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it.

It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody
could have done.

Too true to be that funny. Are you Somebody, Everybody, Anybody or Nobody
when it comes to sharing Christ with others?



"Love In The Home"

If I live in a house of spotless beauty with everything in its place, but
have not love, I am a housekeeper - not a homemaker.


If I have time for waxing, polishing, and decorative achievements, but have
not love, my children learn cleanliness - not godliness.

Love leaves the dust in search of a child's laugh.

Love smiles at the tiny fingerprints on a newly cleaned window.

Love wipes away the tears before it wipes up the spilled milk.

Love picks up the child before it picks up the toys.

Love is present through the trials.


Love reprimands, reproves, and is responsive.

Love crawls with the baby, walks with the toddler, runs with the child, then
stands aside to let the youth walk into adulthood.

Love is the key that opens salvation's message to a child's heart.

Before I became a mother I took glory in my house of perfection.

Now I glory in God's perfection of my child. As a mother, there is much I
must teach my child, but the greatest of all is love.

A Prayer For Endurance For Christ

Precious Lord Jesus, Wonderful Holy Spirit, Awesome God,
I praise your name, O Lord, for you have given me life everlasting.
I praise your name, O Lord, for you give me meaning and purpose when there
would be only aimlessness.
I praise your name, O Lord, for I can feel the sunshine of your love within
my soul.
When the people I care for turn against me because of you, I can still feel
the warmth of your presence within me.
When the world makes fun of you and I feel anger because of their scorn, you
touch my heart and help me to be understanding and forgiving
When I look at the world and the world blames you for the world's troubles,
I can see the day of your return.
