Just my two cents.....the best night of network TV is on Friday nights on CBS.  All 3 programs were to be new this week.  Why in the world would the network bump them for a rerun  of something else?????  Besides, that rerun could be shown on the host's own network or some streaming service.

This is not about the content of the rerun; it is me voicing that I find airing it again unnecessary.

Re: Friday Night Programming

President Biden is addressing the Nation tonight.  Could that have something to do with it?

On my Tivo Guide for Friday (tomorrow), for CBS, it's all new stuff.  I don't watch any of those shows, but it shows MacGyver, Magnum PI, and Blue Bloods for the 8-10pm span.  All new episodes, according to my guide.   Sometimes it's wrong, though, so don't quote me on that.  Smiley Happy

Re: Friday Night Programming

People like their routine. You get me out of the habit and I might not comeback, especially with so much out there now to watch. The networks have tons of competition. The days of 3 channels are over. Then you add in something that we just saw a couple nights ago. The people that were interested in that subject watched it. Head scratcher on this one for sure.

Wrong is still wrong just because you benefited from it.

Re: Friday Night Programming

@Kachina624 I think tonight is Thursday night, at least I hope I didn't lose a day.  I was actually surprised to see time carved out for the President because usually DirecTV's guide usually doesn't update that quickly.

I guess Tuesday is my best night when the shows are new.  However, I don't watch them on Tuesday night.  I record them to watch on another night.

I think I'm coloring my hair this evening so I can sleep in tomorrow morning.

Re: Friday Night Programming

@chickenbutt. I read it online.  The 3 new shows are being bumped for a rerun.  We usually read or watch PBS.  Friday is the only night for regular programming.  I just think returning the interview just 5 days later is a bit much.
