Hi ladies. I haven't flown in the past six years or so, but I'm going to CA to visit my sister on Wednesday. I've found the info. regarding 311, but just want some advice regarding carrying food on the plane.
I know you have to purchase your liquid after going through security. My mother and I were planning to make a nice little lunch as we won't be getting served a big meal. I've read that you can carry on sandwiches. Then I read that you can only carry on pre-wrapped sandwiches.
What exactly is a pre-wrapped sandwich?? Do they mean only like Subway sandwiches? Someone said that you cannot use mayonnaise. Can I make sandwiches and wrap them myself? Will they know if I put a little mayo on it? I know these rules are necessary, but very confusing. Thought some of you ladies who fly often might have some idea. I really don't want my sandwich confiscated!! Thanks for any advice and tips you have to share!
