@willomenia Like others stated, it was a Flash Free Shipping meaning it was only for 4 hours I believe.

QVC has done this a few times. Back in the day we all had an 8 digit customer number. They played a lotto type game and would randomly draw 4 numbers. If your first or last 4 digits matched their's, you would be credited $25 to your account. They did this randomly to entice customers to watch as often as possible. 

The reason many businesses do this?  It creates urgency, clear inventory, and drives frequent website traffic. They want people to check in often and perhaps something will catch their eye and they will buy. 

If free shipping is desired, I recommend checking the website frequently for these sales. I'm expecting them to perhaps have these flash sales more often.

every now and then i come in here during the day and i caught it with about 20 min to spare...

LOL. I caught yesterday's flash shipping 5 minutes after it ended.  They'll always be another time.

There are so many ways to be notified about the Flash Free Shipping events, even if not watching QVC at the time.

Those who chose to be disconnected from QVC communications will of course miss out.  It's a personal decision. 

I first received the App push notice, then a text and finally the email.

I actually caught the flash free shipping sale and order 2 100% cotton sweaters! Nice to find something that fits my healthier fabrics goal. Admittedly, these were not made in the USA or organic but baby steps...
