If you could choose, which would it be? Personally, I usually don't need anything in a rush, so I'd opt for free shipping.
Lately, my last 3 or 4 orders were on free shipping days.

Definitely the free shipping. Lately thee is a real problem with the orders getting out to me. Most are taking 5-7 days to even leave. I wonder what is going to happen when they get busy. Most gifts won't make it ontime.

Not attracted to free shipping unless the price of the item I have my eye on is reduced...clearance or sale.
Everything a retailer does is factored into the prices they charge.
Example: Mike George, CEO of Qurate, on August 19, 2019 said the costs of purchasing HSN, integration into QVC, and updating warehouses might increase product prices. FYI, as for tariffs, he also said, so far QVC had not been impacted, but watching closely.
No retailer is going to absorb free shipping and returns costs without increasing prices.
Then everyone would complain about the higher prices.
This isn't that difficult to understand when we look at the big picture. Retailers are in business to make money, not lose it by offering free shipping and returns. They have to make that up by increasing prices of their products.
So, I think the question should be, what does everyone prefer...we pay shipping or free shipping along with increased prices?

@coffee drinker ~ Oh boy, wouldn't BOTH be great? I choose
free shipping, since s/h prices to Alaska (and Hawaii) are three to four times higher, if not more.

When you look at Amazon, there is no reason we cannot have both! QVC would not have to raise pricing as they would be doing a lot more in sales if they could get their act together!!!!! JMO

i vote for free shipping, because qvc has never shipped as fast as other companies. yes, i know that they have way more orders, but that isn't the point, as they could hire a few more people to pack/ship orders. it seems like most orders are in some type of holding pattern for at least 48 hours.
me too, other then the recent lock n lock tsv, my orders are on free shipping days. i don't need the items in a rush. my concern is that the longer packages are 'in transit', the more likely they can get lost and/or damaged.
