FYI - HSN has FREE SHIPPING on EVERYTHING.  Today only.  (Thursday, 4/13).  HSN really knows how to do it!!!!!!!

Who doesn't LOVE FREE Shipping/Handling!!!!  This is why I so much more like shopping with hsn.  They offer free s/h to their customers often on so many items - shoes, bedding just to name two.

They don't lose money by treating consumers free shipping either, in fact it BOOSTS their sales because current consumers take advantage and it brings on many new consumers.

This channel should take note.

@SharkE I've been watching a couple of craft items.  They're the same price today as they have been all along.  Only today they have free shipping instead of the $5.00 each in the time I was watching them.  Not to say that it might have been added on in some cases...just not the ones I was interested in.

@SharkE, @Krimpette  I agree with Ms K.  I shop hsn much more than I do at qvc and I too am very familiar with all sorts of products and prices.  Prices at hsn are not jacked up on items today or any other day just to make up the difference.

No they do not, love HSN!

Cannot say the same about prices at the q ie jacking up prices and say free s/h especially on food items.  Hidden costs for 'free s/h' here is a joke.  I do not buy anything food here anymore but I have in years past a few food items and the s/h was outrageous. Now they give the impression it's now free but they do increase the cost of the items to make up for it.

That's not big draw for me, free shipping would not ever make me buy something just like a shipping fees would never prevent me from buying something.  Flex pays, 5 or 6 like Evine does...that is an enticement for me to buy.

If the the price is the same or lower on the same item, why wouldn't I go for the free shipping option. I don't like or use easy pay so that is not an inducement.
