Yep, it’s happened. The one thing I simply cannot abide. Last night there was a roach in my bed!! I have a phobic fear/disgust of roaches. I just can’t tolerate them! And what am I going to do now? I can never sleep in my bed again!
How has this happened? I’m a clean person. Keep the bedroom clutter free. No eating in the bedroom. Mom gets the house sprayed regularly. Just thinking about it makes my skin crawl, ugh. I can’t stop feeling it! This is a nightmare.

@Northray That would be a nightmare for me, too. Sleep on the couch for a few nights, and ask someone to check your bed before you get it.

Did you go on vacation lately...you can bring them home in your suitcase.....
or a piece of furniture from a flea market?

They can come in on boxes from things that you've ordered. I always take whatever I've ordered out of the box immediately and put the box in the garage.

No, I haven’t. I don’t understand, because I’m such a phobe, on top of the roach spray the guy sprays. I lay down boric acid in the corners (no pets) and throw bay leaves every where.

Does this work for real?

Yes, they can definitely come in boxes. Years ago I ordered some Tupperware and when I opened the big cardboard box the pieces came in out came a roach.

@Northray You need a multitude of these 'hotels' since one only covers a small area of the house... available in box of 12 .... this product helps keep them "at bay" but not eradicate. It is recommended to have a professional service spray which is costly.

You can bring them home in grocery sacks, they come in from your drains, or other small cracks like under doors and such. I work in a 12 floor building and over the past 21 years have seen a few from my office to the garage level parking. I know in the back of my head it is possible one could one day catch a ride home with me in my purse. I try not to think of it. Has been a many years since I have seen one but I do feel for you. I am sure it was only one hitching a ride or in search of some water. I found a lizard inside my home one day crawling on the wall could not catch it. Two days later I found it in my bathtub in search of water, got it then.
