I apply my liquid foundation with a Lancôme foundation brush and then go over my face with a Beauty Blender sponge.

I apply my stick foundation with my fingers and cream foundation with a sponge.

My liquid foundation feels a bit heavy in this heat we've been having, so I have been using some Bare Mineral brushes that I have from sometime in the past. I have been using "Skinn" foundation with a brush and it is light and covers really well.
