my daughter had something happen recently with toothpaste.

she found small shards of plastic in the tube.

she posted a photo of the tube of toothpaste and a sample of the plastic pieces on twitter. someone contacted her almost immediately because of course she tagged the company in her tweet.

they told her it might have "crystallized.".

she said no, they are definitely hard pieces of plastic......and they were!

they sent her a box to return the toothpaste in so that they could do some testing.

they also sent her some coupons for several free tubes of toothpaste and also discount coupons for some of their other products.

no she did not hear back @Warrior2022.

it would have been interesting to know if there were more complaints or if it was a one tube issue. of course, not everyone complains.......they just throw it away.

Yes it's disturbing, but I think we've all found something gross in our food at one time or another. I certainly wouldn't go so far as to say I'm never eating rice a roni again.

That's referred to as the BRAT diet, and they mean plain rice, not a seasoned mix like Rice a Roni. (think "bland") Hope you're feeling better soon!
