Forbes - "Feeding America"--> #1

FYI   this is NOT AN AD.... **NOT** AN ENDORSEMENT

           *ONLY NEWS* of Interest !!!

            (**NOT ENDORSEMENT!**)

"Feeding America claimed the No. 1 spot on Forbes’ 2022 list of America’s Top 100 Charities, ousting United Way from its longtime perch. It’s the first time in the 24 years Forbes has been compiling this list that a food charity tops our ranking."  (ref: LinkedIn on Forbes)

"As a national umbrella organization, it funnels support to a network of about 200 regional food banks, which in turn provision 60,000 food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters and other programs that (by Feeding America’s reckoning) help one in seven Americans. @sunshine45

Soo good of you.  I agree!  No hungry or thirst!

Oh yeah.   Chef José Andrés     of World Central Kitchen. His charity name escaped me, thinking it might be this Forbes #1. Seems should be, eh?

I think I heard that Chef José Andrés   was at the horrible "train site" even before I heard that authorities were there!!  That is ONE AMAZING MAN, along with his incredible workers!!  Woman Happy

The rankings are by size, not some sort of "worthiness" ranking.

You didn't introduce Ohio into this topic.

I wonder if anyone who wants to constantly criticize/introduce politics into every discussion here (and trying to sneak in previously closed topics) is renting a UHaul and loading it with food and water and going to Ohio to help.

Thankfully people and organizations like Feeding America and WKC see human beings and help them, they don't have time to be keyboard warriors exploiting human tragedy for personal agendas.

@jonbon

    Cld "growth is size" of served ppl,  and/or  "growh in more locales that serve even more ppl in need, more facilities,   , be considered a Forbes "#1 success?"

Do you happen to have a "reference" you can offer,  for your comment above (I highlighted in red)?

Thanks @jonbon

The rankings are based on private donations. Is that what you mean by size?

I'm struggling to understand your comment.  I apologize.

Did I do something wrong?
