The actress who plays John Slattery's former wife Mona is his real wife Talia Balsam who was once married to George Clooney. She is also the daughter of Martin Balsam the great actor.

There is a whole lot of nothing going on in this show so far. Everyone is down in the dumps all the time. I am beginning to lose interest in it.

Me too. And all of Don's "friends" are so mean to him. That office environment is toxic.
I still laugh at the way Harry Hamlin's character uses his hands when he talks. Sitting around the conference table, whenever he has a line, he moves his fingers like a magician. Very feminine gestures for a man, and it looks so silly. But yet, it amuses me.

I agree about 'a whole lot of nothing going on'. There are only about 10 total episodes left in the entire run of the series. You would think there would be a lot more important and meaningful things to show each week. There used to be funny interesting things shown some times. Now it is just very depressing and angry - such a downer. Also Betty has only been shown on one episode and it was about her going with Bobby to a dairy farm. What a waste of time that was. After watching for all these years, there had better be some really spectacular finale when it all ends. I have always thought that the guy falling from the building during the opening was going to be Don. We'll have to wait and see what happens to him.....

The more the show goes on...the more I think you are right!

I think the show is realistic. When Don had the power, he had friends; now that he's down, he's got kickers.

Interesting...I was also thinking the same thing. The show seems to have lost its focus and ability to capture viewers. Don is way off the track and the office co-workers are all ""Debbie Downers"". I can't imagine where these stories will go...

I've been enjoying it so far.
I think they have been giving us an update and insights into what has happened to these characters and the office/business in the years that passed since last season. This series has years pass between seasons.
The characters and business have really changed a lot since last season.
I thought it was really interesting how Don caught the immense potential with advertising for the new computer business. I'm hoping he follows that up. I really hope to see him find peace and happiness at the end of the series.
