Re: For the Bus Driver or the Lady @ the Post Office

@disneynut57  That was Nancy Hornback. I give gifts to our postal worker, etc, but not a bathrobe ! Ridiculous.

No, but I have seen worse , I also cut the hosts some slack. They have a lot of airtime to fill ,and it isn't as easy as some people think

That is ABSOLUTELY ridiculous ! I slip the Mail deliverer $25 and no one knows the difference but maybe I can leave it out for the woman who delivers our paper. I have never seen her and know she is the same woman because I have gotten a card from her for the past 20 years. Bet she be thrilled in getting a robe from a stranger instead of cash.

It's always interesting to see the hosts come up with new people who require gifts.

I agree.  I am sure there are people that can do that, and that's nice.

Besides, they just say it because it's a suggestion.  I pay no attention or just hear it and let it go and move on.

@Keybra : I'm going to assume your paper lady puts her name and address in the card. I make that assumption because mine does.

I put cash in a Christmas card and mail it to our guy thanking him for always being reliable.

@disneynut57  That is so funny!  LOL......I think the same thing every time they say silly stuff like that.  If you're buying gifts for all those people, more power to you.  I find myself buying less gifts for people every year.  I do donate a gift through my church every Christmas, IMO that's a better idea.  Many times mail persons change where I live as does the UPS driver, etc. so you don't always receive the services from the same people.

Nancy comes across to me as one of the more intelligent hosts. I doubt she would come up with that gem on her own. I blame her producer whispering that nonsense into her earpiece, lol.
